ASBO International Celebrates Success of 2025 Annual Conference & Expo — A Milestone in School Business Leadership
Reston, VA – The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its 2025 Annual Conference & Expo (AC&E 25), held October 21–23 in Fort Worth, Texas. Early feedback underscores what became evident throughout the event: AC&E 25 exceeded expectations by delivering exceptional learning, collaboration, and inspiration for school business professionals worldwide.
Aligned with the conference theme, “Navigate: Leading the Journey to Growth,” the event convened nearly 1,000 participants from across the globe. Attendees engaged in impactful professional development, practitioner-led insights, and strategic networking within a strong and supportive community committed to advancing education through effective school business leadership.
Key Highlights from AC&E 25
- Global Network, Local Impact: Nearly 700 school business leaders from multiple continents connected, shared best practices, and forged relationships that will ripple into their districts for years to come.
- Sustainability Through Community Partnership: Post‑expo donations made through the Welman Project helped divert approximately 200 cubic feet of supplies and furniture from the landfill — nearly 500 pounds or 1.1 dumpsters of materials. In just three days, 135 educators picked up every item, saving an average of $273 each on classroom supplies.
- Giving Back: Through Omni Hotels & Resorts’ Say Goodnight to Hunger program, ASBO International contributed 851 meals to families in need, extending the conference’s positive reach beyond Fort Worth.
- Education That Matters: Sessions spanned timely issues in school finance, operations, compliance, and leadership — led by industry experts and practitioners who understand the day‑to‑day realities of the profession.
- Credible Career Advancement: Attendees earned SFO® contact hours, CPEs, and CAE credits toward their professional certifications.
- Innovation & Vendor Showcase: The Expo Hall featured cutting‑edge solutions and services designed for school business needs — giving districts new tools to drive efficiency and impact.
- A Forward-Focused Theme: Building on previous years, AC&E 25 encouraged attendees to embrace growth-oriented strategies that drive progress and elevate district performance.
Participant Reflections
Attendees emphasized the profound impact of AC&E 25 on their professional practice:
“The annual conference and expo has helped me in my role as a business official because of the network and being able to connect and relate to everybody around the country and learn from one another as to how to maybe do things better, be more efficient, take ideas back to my own school district and implement them based on success stories that have been shared”
“I find that AC&E helps me a great deal in my role back in my district. It's always a good inspiration for new ideas. I've got quite a few notes that I'm taking back to my state and my district”
